Workshops, Courses & Retreats

All deposits are non-refundable.

When booking a course with split payment options, it is the responsibility of the attendee to settle outstanding payments at the specified due dates.

We offer full refund of retreat and workshop fees if cancelled more than 2 months from the course dates and 50% refund if cancelled between 1-2 months ahead. We can not offer refunds if retreats and workshops are cancelled within 1 month of the course dates.

It is the responsibility of the attendee to workshops, courses and retreats to ensure they do not have any of the counterindications for the plant being worked with.

Course facilitators reserve the right to refuse admittance of any attendee to a course at their own discretion.

Online courses are non-refundable once booked unless the course is cancelled by the organiser.
Change of venue or cancellation

Emma Farrell reserves the right to change the venue or cancel the event. In the unlikely event that this happens, as soon as we are notified of any amendments we will contact all customers by email. If the event is cancelled by force majeur and circumstances beyond our control within 2 months before the start of the course you will not be entitled to a refund. If the event is rescheduled or moved venue, you will be given the option of retaining your place for the new date/location, or claiming a refund in advance.

Please note, however, it is the customer's responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and we cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes to the event date, time or venue although we will of course endeavor to do so.

Please note, if the event is cancelled or postponed, we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the customer for travel, accommodation or any other related service.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy sets out how Plant Consciousness uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website.
Newsletter Sign-ups
Our website offers you the chance to sign up to the Plant Consciousness Newsletter, we only require your email address and your opt-in goes straight to our database handler, Mailerlite. Your email address will not be provided to a third party and we will only send emails related to Plant Consciousness.
There is an Unsubscribe button on every Newsletter and you can opt-out of receiving any news from Plant Consciousness whoever you wish. Kindly note that once unsubscribed you will not be able to re-subscribe unless from a different email address.
Alternatively, you can write to Emma@plantconsciousness to have your name removed from our mailing list at any time.
Emma will ensure that your email is manually removed from the list. If you wish to re-subscribe you will need to do so with an alternative email address.
Plant Consciousness complies with the GDPR law.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Additional Privacy Policy
1. What information do we gather?
As a visitor to this site you may be asked to provide us with personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address when you fill out a form / book a ticket.
This information is collected for internal administrative purposes only and will not be passed to any other organisations. Most of the information you provide for ticket purchases stays with PayPal. Some of the information we collect through forms is marked as mandatory and other information is provided voluntarily, if you fail to provide us with information that is marked as mandatory we will not be able to process your form. The only mandatory information we ask for is that which is needed to complete the ticket sale, requiring that you provide us at least with your full name, e-mail address and postal address.
2. Payment details
Payment is handled separately, and securely, through the payment processor, PayPal, so those details are never gathered by Us and we never have access to them.
3. How do we process this information, and for what purpose?
At present, we require these personal details for a number of reasons. We need your full name and e-mail address so we may be able to send you tickets electronically, so we can re-issue you tickets and possibly offer refunds if necessary, and we also require this information for our own record keeping, as well. We may also use these details to send you promotional material about other related services or products, unless you opt out of our mailing list. If you wish to be removed from the mailing list, simply send us an email request or check the relevant box during the booking process.
4. Who will We share this information with?
We do not share the information we collect with any third party.
5. How do we protect your information?
We follow the Information Commissioner’s Office’s recommendations for our own data security. Our Payment Processor use their own security measures to keep your personal banking details safe, including safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption. Please see their privacy policy for more information.
6. What rights do you have to access, change or remove your information?
Among others, you have the right to a copy of the information we have collected from you. Additionally, you are entitled to have inaccurate personal data rectified or destroyed. In fact, we welcome any amendments you may suggest, as it is also our obligation to keep any data we collect as accurate as reasonably possible.

7. Use of Cookies
When you provide Us with personal information on this site We may use "cookies". If you decline to accept a cookie sent by Us you may not be able to access certain functions of the site such as online booking.

This site may contain links to other sites at which your personal information is collected, on our event pages for example. When following a link to another site, the collection and use of your personal information is controlled by the privacy policy of that site. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy policies of external websites and your use of external websites is at your own risk.

Terms & Conditions For Essence Purchases
Purchasing from the Plant Consciousness Apothecary
We process all purchases through the secure online payment processor, Paypal, so you can be assured that your card details and payment information will remain entirely secure. The transaction will take place within PayPal so neither we nor anyone else will see your card or payment details.
Dispatch
Orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours.
British Isles orders are posted second class and will take 2-3 working days to arrive. Orders over £50 value are sent signed for.
Overseas orders are sent standard shipping. Arrival times are subject to postal services of the respective countries once the order leaves the UK. Orders over £60 value are sent via courier.
Missing or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that we inadvertently send you an incorrect essence, or there is an error with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt and we will be happy to correct the mistake. If you receive a broken essence in your parcel, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt and we will send you a replacement as soon as possible.
Our Privacy Policy
• We never disclose or share any customer information to any third parties or other companies, other than those required to process your order.
• The information collected during the course of an order (name, address etc) is only used to process your order.
• Payments made online are securely processed through Paypal, so neither we nor anyone else will see your card payment details.
• Cookies: the shopping area of our site uses Cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item (you may choose not to use Cookies, but this will mean that you won't be able to use the shopping cart facility.)
• We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.
Returns
If you wish to return or exchange a purchase for any reason, you may do so within 21 days of receiving your order, provided that the item(s) are in their original condition (we can not make a refund on essences which have been opened, damaged or had their tamper proof seals removed or broken.)
Refund
Subject to the above, and upon safe receipt of the returned order (address details on your receipt), we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item(s) (this does not include the original postage & packing charge). Cost of postage for returns to our address is payable by the customer.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you wish to return all or part of your order, please contact us.
Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order before dispatch by emailing or phoning us (see Contact Us page) and letting us know your name and order reference number. We will then cancel your order and refund your payment as soon as possible.
Refunds
Online Payments: if for whatever reason we have cause to make a full or partial of your payment, this will be done through the original payment method used and put back onto the original card card that you used for payment.
